Welcome to the Maryport Youth Festival!

The youth festival is a unique opportunity for young artists and musicians to show off their talents to a massive audience - as well as their friends, family, locals and visitors from across the UK!

As well as performances throughout the day, you can find out about further education, work opportunities and training courses at our careers fair - and check out what young Cumbrian artists have been making, drawing and painting.

Thanks to those who took part in this year's Festival! We're already looking forward to 2011!

The Youth Festival aims to enhance the cultural, social and educational life of young people in West Cumbria and is supported by Maryport and District Neighbourhood Forum, Cumbria County Council Allerdale Fund Local Committee Grant, Iggesund Paperboard, ITV Fixers and Workington Music Store.
Performance of a Lifetime
ITV Fixers, one of the sponsers of this year's Festival, have a Performance of a Lifetime article about the young artists who played!

Pictures and DVDs are now available from Sarah Robinson (DiamondDayz.com) and each band who played can receive a complimentary photo free! Just email Sarah with the image number!

There are also pictures available from the Times and Star website - if you'd like to purchase any of these, please contact the Times and Star photosales service. DVDs can also be purchased at £10 each (of which £5 is donated to Maryport Festivals Ltd - which helps fund next year's festival!). For more information, please contact us!
